Artist Statement
Characterizing the likeness of a deeply emotional and passionate nature, Carly created this series with the intention of rendering herself synonymous with the mediums in which she was working. Redefining the borders of her own physicality, she creates a space in which she can exist in harmony with the explorative nature of creativity, as well as the yielding dexterity to which it has the power to dominate its vessel.
